2010 Events and Exhibits at the Dubois County Museum
July 3 through September 12—Dubois, Indiana, at 125 Years, (1885-2010)--a temporary display in anticipation of the opening of the Dubois Mural.
September 11—Archaeology Day --10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EDT "Archaeology in Dubois County," a panel discussion with State Archaeologist Dr. Rick Jones, Cathy Carson, and local collectors. From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., attend the Artifact Identification conducted by Dr. Rick Jones and Cathy Carson. Museum open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit the Archaeology and Native American exhibit, "People of the Woodlands." Free archaeology outreach materials. Archaeology Month T-shirts for sale.
