Sept. 11, 2021 — Archaeology Day at the Dubois County Museum
—Due to the high levels of COVID-19 cases in the county, the Dubois County Museum has decided to CANCEL Archaeology Day 2021.—
10:00-10:30 am ET — “Archaeology in Dubois County” a panel discussion with archaeologist, Dr. Rick Jones, and local collectors, Kenny Hochgesang and Derrick Haas.
10:30—11:00 am ET — A discussion on stone tools and weapons by Derrick Haas.
11:00 am– noon ET — Artifact Identification by Dr. Rick Jones, Retired State Archaeologist.
All Day– Visit museum’s display “People of the Woodlands: Native Americans of Dubois County” during open hours 10 am–4 pm ET.
