All Dubois County Girl Scouts and their families are invited to Girl

Scout Day at the Dubois County Museum located at 2704 N. Newton Street in Jasper, on Saturday, December 9 from 1-3pm EST.   The cost is $5 per Girl Scout family which includes admission to the museum, view of Girl Scout exhibit at museum, craft, snacks, drinks, and one Rededication patch.  The Girl Scouts will hold a Rededication and Flag Ceremony and a have a Guest Speaker.  Be sure to check out the revised Girl Scout Exhibit that now includes a United States flag carried on a combat mission in Iraq.  The flag is presented to all Dubois County Girl Scouts and has been donated to the museum.

As a Service Project, please bring personal hygiene items to be donated to our local Military.  Some items needed are travel sized hand sanitizer, shampoo, deodorant, soap, wipes, toothpaste, and similar items. A schedule of the day is:

1-2pm Museum Tour—Girl Scout Exhibit

2-2:30pm Craft & Snacks

2:30-3pm Flag Ceremony & Guest Speaker

The museum will have their Festival of Trees event showcasing many decorated Christmas Trees and many Santa figurines on display.   They will also have a Cookie Walk organized and cookies made my Museum Volunteers and the ladies of Alpha Delta Kappa’s Dubois County chapter Beta Gamma.   You’re invited to stop by and purchase some great homemade treats.
